Caldecott & Newbery Awards - The Winners of 2011

To start in beauty I expected a big day: a couple of hours ago, the site of ALA (American Library Association), have been published The winners of the prestigious Caldecott Medal and Newbery Medal for 2011 in respect of books published in the United States during 2010. Here it is!

The two books have received the Caldecott Honor Books (honorable mention) are as follows:

Dave the Potter: Artist, Poet, Slave , ; written by Laban Carrick Hill, illustrated by Bryan Collier, published by Little, Brown and Company, a division of Hachette Book Group, Inc., September 2010.
